OK, so Christmas is over... yes, I fell off the wagon a bit this week. I feel crappy about it, but at the same time, I'm not going to get all worked up about it. It seems that's where I've run into major problems in the past - I do really well for a while and then I have one or two bad weeks, so I give up. Not this time. Yes, I had a bad week, but at the same time, I don't have to go to dinner three times this week (my daughter's birthday and two families worth of Christmas meals). I can pay better attention to what I'm eating AND (for the first time since Thanksgiving) I'm not making candy! (homemade candy for Christmas presents...) So, there are just a few leftovers for my family to take care of (I've not touched them) and then the holidays are over. I'm going to go to the YMCA next week and see if they have a student rate or something so I can get in and do some weight lifting once or twice a week to add to the cardio that I've been doing at home. Well, that's that. I know I'm not going to like what the scale has to tell me this week, but I'm off anyway!.....
